Yes, I admit to the fact that I found this blog when looking for comics about Mac vs. PC.  My evil pursuits of continuing a dead conversation lead me to such riches, though, that I might continue to look!

    I loved the “The Smartest Man in the World is… Me!” post, but it didn’t seem to get much of a reaction. One guy even stopping reading my site because of it.

    It was one of those times I wanted to tell everybody that they were stupid because they couldn’t see that it was just a bloody effin’ joke, but I don’t do that. Although it’s the thought I tend toward, there are also obviously many other factors that might lead someone to think I stink, or not get my humor.

    Seriously! The idea that people who are actually trying to find the smartest man in the world, but who are going to get to my site and that *humorous* (not serious, as some seem to have thought) letter? I love it. Not especially modest, but I do this stuff because I have fun, so I guess I don’t have many problems with expressing joy at my own work.

    Anyway, yeah… honestly, thank you so much. I needed to hear that. I felt like I had suddenly lost whatever edge I had. Where I thought it was an obscenely funny little practical joke, it seemed all I got was… blah.

    You’re welcome. Thank YOU for being so flippin’ hilarious. I thought it was damn funny, and it was even funnier that someone left the site because of the post. He’ll come back, you know. He’ll check your blog later, thinking “I wonder what Rory’s writing now - he was so funny before that post” and get hooked all over again. Although if he doesn’t recognize the superiority of Farscape, do you really want him back?

    However, I will say that the New Gods post is possibly going to become my new favorite - the more I read it, the more I laugh and want to create my own God Team. Very American Gods, that. Maybe our gods could face off in a superbowl format.
