Depending on who you are, you’ll either recognize that from Dumbo, or you’ll think I just came back from Pennsic.

There’s a lot going on. So much that I don’t feel like I have enough time to update people on it. This is where I suddenly understand the uses of Facebook and Twitter - I only really have time for 140 characters to tell people what’s happening anyway.

So here goes:

• At Pennsic, I got engaged. This means that I am planning a wedding. Because, dammit, I want one.  So commence wedding planning.
• The house is slowly becoming more like an actual place to live.  But not totally.
• Because of my wedding saving and planning, I have to seriously cut back on the workshops I do and where I spend my money.
• September 17th - my band, The Dark Clan, is performing at the Forward Music Festival/Reverence in Madison. Come one, come all!  We’ll be at the Frequency!  I’m currently practicing two new songs for this event. Three if you count the one we performed at Liquor Sweets and GenCon in August.
• Jason and I bought full passes to the festival, so we’ll be there all weekend.
• September 18th, Friday night - I am dancing with Pezzettino’s performance at the festival.  Which is great. Except that there are no times available for the festival performances yet. So Friday night is my guess at when I’m performing. This makes it difficult to plan around for things like dinner.
• September 19th, Saturday night - I promised to see Null Device at their show at The Inferno, but my beau would like to buy tickets for Andew Bird. Again, because I don’t have any times on anything, I don’t know if I can make it to that show. Frustrating.  Forward Music Festival says they hope to have the full lineup posted tonight.  I really really hope so.
• October 1st - The Dark Clan has a show in Pittsburgh, PA opening for Slick Idiot, KMFDM’s side project.
• October 10th - I am slated to teach at Midwest Tribal Mafia - Bootlegging 1o1. I think it’ll be a great class. Kristel is helping me teach.
• I’m also supposed to perform at the MTM show. I really am trying to figure out what to perform. There are things hindering this decision too.
• I already decided, however, that I’m wearing a new outfit. Which means making said new outfit. Um, yeah. I love it already and it is barely started.  This weekend I’ll be starting that outfit.  But I’m going to need some help from a friend.
• October 24th - The Dark Clan has a show in Minneapolis at The Underground.

Those are the things currently pressing on my brain. Add in that I’m tempted to go to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving, that I’m not sure I actually have time off left, and that I’m tired as all get out. 

Yeah.  Hopefully soon, I’ll feel like I’ve got a handle on everything.
